Referee Mark Halsey Slipped From Top Category Fits For Next Week In A Row

Umpire Mark Halsey has been dropped from refereeing matches in the Premier League for the second week in a line. Halsey was the umpire who missed Callum McManamanas terror tackle on Newcastle Unitedas Massadio Haidara. After Halsey missed the controversial tackle in the Premier League match in March, the umpire was dropped from last weekendas Premier League matches in England and Wales. McManaman prevented punishment for the foul since one of many match officials saw the episode. Halseyas view of the event was blocked by another player. The umpire has said that if he'd seen the foul, he would have awarded a red card. Halsey has not been chosen because of this weekendas suits in the Premier League. Meanwhile, Mike Dean has been selected whilst the umpire to manage Mondayas game between Manchester United and Manchester City.
