Looking straight back, might 2013 prove to be the determining season for Djokovic regarding where he ultimately ends up on the 'great' hierarchy - passing even his signature 2011 season - by miles?

What's the quickest path to that spot? On the totem pole? what about to be able to reach and touch EACH of the Gold standard standards that determine your place And the Gold expectations are: Most Slams. Most weeks @ No. 1 - Total. Most straight years as year-end No. 1. Calendar Bust. Career Bust. Many WTF games. Many Masters 1000 games. If you could include ALL of above angles without the mark that Federer and Graf (Nadal?) bring in common (Nadal and Seles - Djokovic?) with good selection of surfaces and opponents, you WILL be propelled to the head of the type, perhaps, unquestionably. But there is ONE certain butt that can get you there even faster - and CERTAINLY undoubtedly. It's called the Calendar Freaking Slam. As things stand today, there seems very little between Djokovic and that post. If he gets there, he will also accidentally wash other standards - dramatically. He'll be @ 9 Slams - at a 'correct' 26 years old, with a Career Slam, third straight year as No. 1 (one more than Nadal and two shy of Federer) and half way from the record of six, about 17 Masters 1000 titles (he is @ 14 now with six more to come this year and the record is 22), sensible picture @ a double profession Slam next year, 3rd WTF title.............All that with a wholesome mix of areas and WITHOUT having to be had by his arch rival AND after beating Nadal at his den - repeatedly and handily. You imagine, which will produce enough separation between ANYONE and him, including Federer? You bet!!!!!!!!!! Heck, as of this rate and with recent landscape, you will be mad to doubt if he'll move EVEN the absolute most CONSECUTIVE months @ No. 1 - with time to spare. He's @ 53 with 237 as history. For overall months, he's @ 78 with 302 as record.
