Every great baseball player has to hang up the cleats at some point, and the following ball players are being told by Father Time to just call it a career.
Whether it is diminished velocity for a power pitcher or home runs that just aren't as prolific as they once were, these guys are clearly no longer the stars they once were.
Of course, that is merely our list, which really serves to start a grand debate that we encourage you to participate in with suggestions of your own.
