Charlie Clarke still wants Europe for West Brom - expressandstar.com

Bob Clarke currently insisted West Brom must shoot for Europe regardless of the issues that have hit Saturdayas opponents Newcastle. The Baggies cause the Magpies by nine points ahead of the Hawthorns clash after last seasonas Premier League shock deal struggled to cope with the additional demands of the Europa League. But Clarke thinks Albion must keep their very own European desires for future years. Their flying begin to this year set supporters dreaming of a Europa League campaign before their chances were scuppered by a tough mid-winter spell. Clarke said: aIt may be difficult in Europe, but I donat think such a thing should be in the way of your ambition. aIf you have to be able to be eligible for a the Europa League then thatas what you should do and you should simply take your chances, like Newcastle did. aThey qualified for the quarter-finals, that has been a great success. aIave got some friends at Newcastle and I understand they really enjoyed their Europa League journey. aThey enjoyed the games, the visits and the difficulties against people from different places. Being wrapped in to the total European deal is very good. "If you have the possibility to do it as an instructor, a player, a manager or perhaps a promoter, you have to try to do it and grasp it.a Alan Pardewas area mind for The Hawthorns on the rear of a 3-0 derby defeat in the home to Sunderland on Sunday. But Clarke needs a hardcore game against a Newcastle group who are just five things clear of the relegation zone with five games to play. He said: "I went around view them at the weekend and it was an extremely good performance and an excellent atmosphere by Sunderland. aDerby activities are very different. They are one-offs. I do believe Sunderland maybe got Newcastle at a great time, when they had only been knocked from the Europa League. "And as Alan Pardew said, there was maybe a bit of tiredness mentally and physically. Nevertheless they have experienced a week this week. "Iam certain they'll be thrilled to have the get they need to cement their place in the Premier League for next season.a West Brom midfielder Claudio Yacob was today urged to push his in the past in to the Argentina group by recapturing his early-season Hawthorns type. David Clarke currently insisted West Brom should shoot for Europe inspite of the issues that have hit Saturdayas opponents Newcastle. Expressandstar.com bring you move talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa, Birmingham and Walsall. West Brom boss Steve Clarke today informed Premier League vultures against swooping for the clubas top stars by requiring athey will cost a fortune.a to you I totaly recognize. We have to aim just a little higher each period. Yes it could be a stress on our recent squad but are we not hunting for new faces? Yes a couple of will be making but doesn't that just give opportunity for our ever improving childhood participants to break through? Or even go out on mortgage a Thorne and Dawson. We can't have each year to the exact same goals. Custom denies progress...... You are welcome. Wonderful one ship towards the finish, except if improvement IS our history, as has been the melody for the past 3-4 seasons, I think this close seasons measures i.e. the rate of players making to players staying will speak volumes as to the Board's ambitions (I don't like using the concept 'Board' as a fan, it's ugly and often followed by waste talk) however in this case it will be described as a clear cut sign to any or all who pay attention. Much to my acceptance the WBA Board.....*shudder*.....have always worked in the dark and kept things near their chest, but we may well see their work express itself physically in the pinnacle count of the coming and going, exciting times. It is good to become a Baggie! BOING BOING! 'Yes it may be a stress on our recent team' Adam, I do believe Albion operate with a 23 or perhaps 22-player group. With the incidents, suspensions and AWOLingie it's similar to 16-18 person squad. Europe is actually a real pressure on the staff. As usual, next time is determined by JP, budget and option of the 'right' participants. Uncertain SC could have a 25 player squad to work with next season however, you never know, particularly with more revenue from media/TV to arrive. However, I do believe SC will be needing a full squad for a European strategy. Baggies and Bathams...the Black Country way We all know being in Europe attracts top players, so that must be our purpose because it really helps to hold on to the top players currently at our club. Europe gets the fans humming with excitement. Bring it on to out spot. Onward and upward with the BAGGIES. BOING~~~~BOING~~~~JaH. We battered Newcastle up there earlier in the day in the season - if only Lukaku had his shooting boots on. Be good to have back again to how we were playing then...good appearance, smart activity, clean passing and attack-minded. We seemed dangerous going forward. Clarke has dangled the Europe carrot. We truly need the players to answer. Maybe not for me in 2013 however, you never know. Get your firing shoes on Rom and Shane and fully grasp this gain. Europe next year, probably. Next year will probably be described as a bosta! Baggies and Bathams...the Black Country way Why not? If we obtain the right people in this summer and obtain a good replacement Peter and 2 good wingers it could be made by us! Hate seeing Fortune,Dozza ect play out wide. Square pegs in round holes! If we keep square pegs in square holes and have good back up people we can do it! Ambition! Don't be satisfied with what we have often goal higher! :) Boing boing I was lucky enough ( and old enough ) to see Albion play European campaigns throughout the 60s and 70s, and at a time when the great majority of players in the English game were British, it was interesting to see a couple of 'star' names from other nations playing on The Hawthorns frequency. Well some of our younger fans have not had the possiblity to see us involved in these tournaments, but it is just entered my mind that individuals now have a lot of the world's top sportsmen every time at the Albion ground in league games!! Anyway, I do not wanna over-simplify, but the way I notice it we have made continuous progress over the last few seasons, and the intention must certanly be to strengthen the membership, and strengthen our foothold in the premiership - if you focus on doing that, then European basketball or winning awards may eventually come as a for your attempts, but we still want to get our priorities right, and while the Goddess Doris Day once said- 'what will be, will be.......' Que sera, sera ( see how quickly I've picked up the terminology after a week in the Spanish Isles.......:) I acknowledge Adam h. Fifteen years back Albion in Europe was only likely to happen if war broke out. Perhaps 3 years ago it was almost unimaginable. The pot games are very much a lottery so a European campaign will be a reward for our very patient supporters that stuck with the membership through the yoyo years. I believe that the team of our size would require luck with injuries to survive a time in Europe. If we've a sizable group we complain if rotating players are kept by Steve and if we keep carefully the same eleven the people perhaps not playing become unsettled so it is a Catch 22 situation. An added thing. I actually do infrequently congratulate Villa for such a thing but what striking information that Stylian Petrov is on the mend. Albion are going to need 2 proven strikers next period. Bundle and iceberg could get thanks. We're getting the time of our lives but we've been here before. In 79 we went top and still got no credit anywhere outside this area. Clarke has yet to deal with Jeremy peace and the turnstile on his wallet.. !! The summertime will function as same old same old but if we could possibly get yet another nugget or two like Yacob we will be good. Fingers crossed. The season could be ended by us on 59 items, if we won all our outstanding games. Can somebody reveal to me how we could get into Europe?, even when most of the teams above us lost their remaining activities?
