While a massive question mark still hangs over the manager's position at Stamford Bridge next year, it is difficult to know exactly what kind of a Chelsea array we might be seeing come August. If the rumors are to be assumed, Jose Mourinho might be on his long ago to London. But whether it is the One or not who takes charge at the Bridge, there's undoubtedly that the director is going to be a hugely important aspect in Chelsea winning a prize next season. Nevertheless, it'll be down to the people to help make the biggest difference. And the one person who could function as the key to a trophy-winning period could be the leader himself, John Terry. In a season of many disappointments, it is hard to point the finger at any one particular weakness, but there is no question that Chelsea's safety has been sporadic at best, and considerably missing the control and experience of John Terry. Frank Lampard seems probably be making Chelsea in the summer, when his contract ends. Lampard's influence will be missed greatly, and which means significantly more than just his objectives. He's one of the senior participants in the squad, and his leadership has been crucial for the Blues while Terry has missed therefore a lot of the season due to damage. It is for this reason that Terry will undoubtedly be such an essential player for the Blues next time, injury enabling. Terry remains a quality defense, and if he is able to remain fit, it will be his talents coupled with his management that offers Chelsea the side next year. It is this year a strong defense that may really have made all of the huge difference, while other people such as for instance Juan Mata have been critical this year.
