Brady Quinn and Seattle Seahawks Accept Terms

After spending quite a while looking for a capable copy for Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks have finally selected Brady Quinn. The team's established Twitter bill gets the news: This clearly is not a shift that'll set the category on fire, but it was one the 'Hawks had to create. After dealing Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders, they certainly were left with Josh Portisa'and all zero of his profession NFL snapsa'as the only QB on the roster besides Wilson. There were many stimulating titles thrown around previously week. But after passing on folks like Tim Tebow and Matt Leinart, the Seahawks completed on Quinn. Jamie Squire/Getty Pictures In seven begins with the Kansas City Chiefs last time, the former Notre Dame star compiled accurate documentation of 1-7. He completed 56.9 % of his passes for 1,141 yards, two touchdowns and seven interceptions. When all was said and done, he'd an average QB rating of 60.1 and a QBR of 27.4. Quinn has used five NFL months with three different clubs, thrown 12 touchdowns to 17 interceptions and has just four wins in 20 whole begins. Again, not quite setting the league unstoppable. But when Quinn ultimately ends up playing Flynnas 2012 role (seven pass efforts in three games), the thing that'll matter is his ability to hang on to a clipboard. None the less, while Wilson is a budding celebrity, he has a set of skills that can leave him weak in the open area every once in some time. Finding a copy who at the very least has on-field experience was something the Seahawks wanted to do the moment possible. Now that theyave completed that, they are able to focus fully on the future draft.
