PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Sergio Garcia lost his lead in two holes within the Players Championship, and he said it didn't help playing with Tiger Woods.
The next round Saturday was overdue when thunderstorms moved on the way to the north Florida coastline. Garcia and Woods, in the final band of a tournament for the 1st time since the 2006 English Open, finished only some holes. Henrik Stenson, playing the ninth hole, was at 11-under par along with leading by one chance.
Garcia, who started by having a one-shot lead over Woodlands, was in the fairway in the par-5 second hole. Woods hooked his tee shot deep inside the trees, where he was surrounded by a thick wall of fans. Garcia heard a substantial cheer as he swung, and his ball sailed well to the right under some woods, making it nearly impossible for getting onto the green.

Garcia looked onto the crowd as their ball was headed well right of the green. In a television interview through the storm delay, Garcia implicated Woods.
"I'm not saying he didn't note that I was a set, " Garcia said. "You do have a feel should the other player is preparing to hit. He must have pulled a 5-wood or a 3-wood, and the herd started screaming. That didn't help completely. "
Stenson, the 2009 Players champion who was two groups before them, made a 3-foot birdie to the fourth, missed from 5 feet in the fifth for birdie, and be able to rolled in a 15-foot birdie putt in the sixth to take your outright lead.
Jeff Maggert also had a share of the lead at one stage. He made bogey to the 18th and wound up with a 66. Maggert was a clubhouse leader at 9-under 207.
Garcia, which has a wild swing of sentiments whenever he plays, looked subdued over the first tee. He ran out to the practice efficient and leaned on his bag within the minutes before his golf tee time, mostly watching Woodlands chip and putt.
Woods and Garcia haven't had a friendly partnership. Woods was said to get put off when Garcia noted wildly after winning your Monday night "Battle with Bighorn" exhibition in 2000. In the 2002 U. S.
